“New York, New York, Its a helluva town”! No truer words have been sung. Thats why Roberta Robbins returned to her native city. Born and raised in Manhattan, and Queens, and educated at New York University, you can say New York is in her blood. She started a career in Educational Administration, at NYU and continued at New York Law School. After marrying her college sweetheart, they moved to Brooklyn Heights. After the dog, a great Springer spaniel, they decided to do the family thing, and have two boys.
After her husband was wooed by a major law firm they moved to Atlanta, where they discovered southern hospitality and sweet ice tea. They remained in Atlanta for fourteen years; the boys grew, the husband made partner, and Roberta become a volunteer extraordinaire. She raised money for all of their schools PTAs, Tball team mom, soccer team mom, and Docent at the High Museum of Art. They all enjoyed their time in the South.
Returning to Brooklyn Heights in 2004, they tackled the truly joyful experience of renovating a brownstone. After a year, the family moved in and Roberta wanted to share here expertise in finding a home and making it yours. The love of the hunt, is what makes Roberta enthusiastic. Whether it be a cooperative, condo, townhouse, contractor, architect or art, the search is the most fun.
