Janice Cimberg, Senior Vice President at Brown Harris Stevens, has been selling real estate in the sought after Park Slope, Brooklyn neighborhood since 1975. She has been awarded several impressive distinctions for her work in Park Slope, including being honored as “Listing Broker of the Year” in 2004 and “Broker of the Year” in 2005.
Throughout her 34 year career shes remained a top producer because of her professionalism and understanding of both the buyers and sellers needs. Her extensive list of loyal clientele is a testament to her ability to excel in a myriad of market conditions, along with her depth of knowledge of the area. Frequently her reputation and experience results in repeat and referral business which is best exemplified by her selling the same house several times, and being chosen as the agent for more than one generation of a neighborhood family.
Janice believes in doing business the old fashioned way, with face-to-face conversations and building a strong relationship as her foundation. Her on-the-ground knowledge of the market comes from her total emersion in the neighborhood. She has served as president of her co-op board, is active in the Prospect Park Alliance, and is on the board of directors of her synagogue.
Janice has traveled all over the world, has lived in Asia and California, but truly believes Brooklyn is just the very best place. Most of her family seems to agree. Her younger son lives in his own apartment here and as does her 97 year old mother. Janice's older son just bought and renovated a brownstone. Guess the name of their broker.
