Originally from Savannah, Georgia, I left for California to attend Stanford University. I lived in California for 10 years and worked in the corporate buying offices of several major retailers before coming east and becoming a New Yorker. That uniquely New York experience of moving to Manhattan, shopping for a coop apartment, discovering Brooklyn Heights (very reminiscent for me of historic Savannah), and the joys and challenges of the co-op purchase and application process, lead me to my career in real estate and my love for Brooklyn. It is amazing to have the New York Harbor and the world beyond it at your doorstep.
I had the privilege of joining Brown Harris Stevens in January 2006 and have been involved in handling a broad range of transactional issues from researching and resolving building and landmark violations to preparing a land-lease co-op sale with a view to a 1031 tax deferred exchange while representing co-ops, condos and townhouses listings ranging in value from $300,000 to over $2,700,000. I am blessed to be working with loyal buyers and sellers who refer me to their coworkers, friends and families.
As an agent, I tell people what they need to know even if they do not know to ask. I take the initiative to share information that I have and to anticipate issues before they come up. As an experienced buyer and seller, I realize how much people rely on the diligence and integrity of their real estate agent and I am committed to deserving that trust and reliance.
